300 more words in the pursuit of new writing habit. This time on another essay idea. Seeing how multiple drafts at once might work.
Trying to get back into the habit of writing. Not with any goal other than a few hundred words at a go. More than that can come later.
Pleasant enough day off so far. Spent all morning playing a favorite game, then finished the essay I’ve been working on for weeks.
This is an episode of The Command Line Podcast.
In this episode, I talk about how I find the time for all the interests, passions and projects I pursue. Even though I feel like I am doing less than I used to, I still get the question of how I managed to do so much. In starting a couple of new things, from baking for my family to a new job, I came up with some observations and insights might help. Ironically enough, I meant to record this episode last week but a surprise technical difficulty delayed me. That all seems to be sorted so hopefully more new episodes, soon.

Usual routine today–guitar lesson, baking, other chores. Want to try to record 1, maybe 2, podcasts too.
Today’s plan was good. IPA racked, accomplished about 1200 words b/w writing & edits, bunch of site updates. Time to relax.
On today’s agenda: a bit of home brewing stuff, then writing and planning. Hope to finish an essay that’s taken weeks to write.
Finished a bunch of writing, including next essay which is out for review, and some material for my other site.
Hate feeling gross when doing too little on the weekends so risk doing too much. Some efforts, like pizza, are their own rewards.
This weekend so far: spring cleaning home office, finish essay draft, guitar lesson, make pizzas for the family. & more left to do.
