Geist’s Year in Tech Law and Policy

Not content to post the usual year in review, Professor Michael Geist has formulated his as an A to Z list. I am impressed at his ability to match the issues to this constraint. Only a few seem ever so slightly forced.

J is for Canadian Heritage Minister James Moore and Industry Minister Tony Clement, who presided over Canada’s first national copyright consultation since 2001.

But only a little. Underneath my amazement, though, is the sense of dread for how many issues this represents. I do wish that it would have been harder to match news stories and trends to a list of just twenty-six items.
