M-Lab is making the data available under a very liberal CC license and working with Amazon as a partner to host that data. Interested researchers can, of course, also use AWS and EC2 to generate a copy of the data and purchase compute cycles to undertake their own analysis. The post has the full details of whom to contact in order to make use of the data.
M-Lab includes a call for help in improving the presentation of the raw data, too, to make it more accessible to the public at large.
