Site Design Tweak for Comments

A few people who have posted comments lately have inadvertently posted those comments in response to the wrong entry. The first to do so pointed out the placement of the dividing line between the comments count and the post made it seem like the count, and the link to add a new comment, belong to the next entry.

I tweaked the CSS for my theme a little but to try to address that problem. Anyone who has found the placement of the comments count and link relative to the post themselves, take a look and let me know if this is better.

Update: To see the changes, make sure to flush your browser cache. My theme uses an external stylesheet which your browser may still have a cached copy of.

  1. Heh. Looks like I did the same thing on the last comment I made. Oops, sorry about that. Personally, I’m just too used to comment links being above the line. I now see how things are laid out in your theme. Now all I have to do is tell my brain to get out of its rut or at least pay a bit more attention. 😉

  2. You are the third person to do that, recently, so I changed the theme so the line should now appear where people expect. The flow should now read, from the very top, post, tags and comments, line, next post, next posts’ tags and comments, repeat ad nauseam.

    Is it more clear, now?
