This week’s security alerts are the little white box that can hack your network and Adobe provide a tool for examining Flash files.

In this week’s news, IBM busts record for superconducting quantum computer, Smithsonian seeks to make objects in its museums 3D printable though not necessarily by the public, considering the future of scouting in the form of hacker scouts, and erasing a bit experimentally shown to boost entropy.

Following up this week a plan for using Raspberry Pi for networked free speech and App Inventor now open to all.
