It seems like a good idea to weigh in on a potentially disastrous bit of media consolidation given the opportunity Cecilia Kang at the Post describes. If you consider the impact public comment had on the recently released National Broadband Plan, it certainly couldn’t hurt to air concerns over the marriage of an ISP that has been criticized for suspect discriminatory network management practices with its own captive content producing property.
The comment period opens today, final submissions are due by May 3rd. Two rounds of responses will continue into the Summer.
