This CBS News piece has a lot of good detail. Despite a suit brought in the home country of the ISP hosting Wikileaks, the operators remain anonymous and undeterred. There’s an excellent if short analysis of the feasibility of a free speech defense from Marc Rotenberg of the privacy advocacy group, EPIC.
It may not even come to that, according to the article, but if it does, there is cause for optimism for Wikileaks to be able to continue to provide its critical, free speech oriented service.
