Gizmo5 for Linux is Still Available

I saw a couple of stories going by in my feeds about the Linux client for Gizmo5 going missing. Not surprisingly this sparked a lot of speculation about Google’s motivations in acquiring the VoIP service and their general stances towards Linux users.

I am glad that I reserved comment. I had a suspicion that Hanlon’s Razor was in operation here. Chris diBona tweeted a clarification just a little while ago confirming my instincts. The links to download the Linux client were just temporarily broken.
