Webcaster Settlement Act Passes the House

In a unanimous vote, a bill that many webcasters have described as vital to their continued survival, passed the House. Key to the bill’s passage was apparently Rep. Berman’s discussion with the NAB to address some of the concerns that fueled their past opposition. The bill still has to pass the Senate but there is now cause for optimism that it might do so and before the recess.
