I just published a small patch release for Laconica Tools. It rolls up the fix for the bum syslog call and some enhancements around stripping named entities from the WordPress post titles so they get sent as expected to Laconi.ca.
The next release will be 1.1.0 and will at least contain an enhancement to edit the post template to Laconi.ca. I expect to have it out shortly, if not later today, as I have an unexpected surplus of spare time on my hands.
