This is the first proper version of the plugin I’ve adopted/forked. It is has started to diverge considerable from the original plugin on which I started hacking. Hence the rename.
Enhancements include the ability to specify a different Laconica server, not just Identi.ca though that is the default. You can also toggle on or off sending to Laconica, a nice to have if you’re, say, testing another plugin to send to some other notification mechanism.
I also add more explanatory comments to the sources, neatened up the layout of the options page and adding logging to the method hooked to posting. If you have my hacked version of WordIdentica, please delete it and install this instead.
You can download the 1.0.0 version of Laconica Tools from its new permanent home. I will also update the status of it and any plans for future development there.
