A large number of performance improvements, but also some nice feature additions. Looks well worth the upgrade. - Is AT&T violating terms of BellSouth merger?
I think the access to lawful content and failures to correctly handle fair use are enough without stretching the other network neutrality provisions as the opinion piece tries to do. - Dangers of increased damages under PRO-IP
Critics of PRO-IP produce a white paper explaining the risks, essentially stifling creativity despite any evidence the increased damages are warranted by the threat of piracy. - Students experimenting with WiFi coops
A good proposal from MIT. It is not guaranteed to work, though co-ops have worked elsewhere. I am just glad to see the idea is still be discussed. - Diebold already causing problems in primaries

He’s specifically trying to torpedo an new, independent ombudsman position created by a law he signed. - New ToS for Comcast, less consumer friendly
The editorial is a bit much, but increased scrutiny of all ISPs ToS is clearly warranted. - Novel authentication scheme
Adds a tactile component to foil simple observers, only solves a limited scope of issues around authentication. Wouldn’t necessarily foil network attacks. - New startup using multi party crypto for privacy, security
Sounds similar to other schemes previously discussed, like IBM’s Higgins. Regardless of lack of novelty, nice to see more consumer options becoming available to improve security and privacy. - Pleas to open OS/2’s SOM/DSOM
