At first blush, this story seems pretty ridiculous. But according to the quotes in it from EFF’s Jason Schultz, choreography is indeed copyrightable. There may be a fair use defense but the whole thing just seems patently ridiculous. Can can this sort of anti-fun activity really enhance the original choreographers credibility or cache?
