Encouraging Signs on the Privacy Front

Wired has some good coverage of the judiciary committee hearing held by Senator Leahy, the new chair. I don’t have much to add other than that I hope this frames the tenor and boundaries of the discussion for the next two years. Transparency and accountability (proof programs work) are good starts to balance the massive erosion of our Fourth Amendment rights.
