CryptoDox – Online Crypto and InfoSec Encyclopedia

CryptoDox is definitely using the same model as WikiPedia. I’ve found some good explanations of security and cryptography concepts on Wikipedia in the past. I’m guess the intent of this project is to explore technical terms and concepts in much more depth, perhaps from an experts standpoint. Regardless, it seems like early days, yet. This is probably worth bookmarking to see if they can draw in enough of the relevant communities to build a much more comprehensive resource in these subjects than can be found in Wikipedia, which is obviously of a much broader and hence somewhat of necessity of shallow depth.

The founder’s personal page is here. This explains a bit. There is a discussion area, too, already questioning why a separate project from Wikipedia.
