The Command Line #65 – Listener Comment Line 360-252-7284

Don’t forget to look in your feed if you got this show and missed special editions 3 and 4. In the intro, I do a quick review of two books I just finished. Also, a shout out to fellow podcaster and new listener, Kreg Steppe.

There are two security alerts, this week. Update your FireFox and Quicktime.

In this week’s news, James Shore discusses voluntary technical debt, Cory’s essay on how copyright broke, Ed Felten and others crack an actual Diebold machine, and David Brin wonders why Johnny can’t code.

A few follow ups this week include German police reported to have seized TOR servers but thankfully that wasn’t really the case, party in response, though, the German Pirate Party is founded, and Arlen Specter is back up to surveillance antics.

Download the show in plain mp3 or enhanced formats.
