I highly recommend you read this. I think this is one of the more coherent essays I’ve read on the whole affair. The only point I might disagree on is the level of effort for the modders that created the mod, given the intelligence that the same content is apparently unlockable in the console versions of the game, where re-compiling or any other code wrangling isn’t really feasible. But he makes a good point, regardless.
